This policy outlines how refunds are handled for our two types of purchases: Credit Packs and Subscription Plans.

Before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or payment provider (like PayPal), we strongly encourage you to contact our support team first. Here’s why:
- It's Faster: We can process your refund directly and much more quickly. A formal dispute process can take weeks or even months to resolve through banking systems.
- It's Easier: A simple email to us is all it takes. Disputes often require you to provide extensive documentation to your bank.
- Avoids Complications: Initiating a dispute automatically triggers a formal process that can temporarily suspend your account and will significantly delay your refund until the bank has completed its investigation.

Our 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on the initial (first-time) purchase of any Credit Pack or Subscription Plan. This guarantee is designed to give you peace of mind and allow you to try our premium services risk-free.
Refunds for Credit Pack Purchases
If you purchase a pack of Credits and are not satisfied, you are eligible for a full refund under the following conditions:
- Your refund request is submitted within 7 days of the purchase date.
- You have not spent any of the Credits from that specific purchase.
If you have spent a portion of the purchased Credits, we may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund for the unspent portion. Please contact our support team to discuss your specific situation.
Refunds for Subscription Plans
Our 7-day money-back guarantee applies to your first payment for a new subscription (e.g., when you first subscribe to the Pro or Elite plan). It does not apply to recurring monthly or yearly renewal payments.
- Your refund request must be submitted within 7 days of your initial subscription payment.
- If a refund is issued, any monthly credits that were granted as part of that subscription purchase will be deducted from your account balance.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Profile page. Your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period, but you will not be charged again.
What Isn't Refundable
To maintain a fair and sustainable platform for all creators, the following are not eligible for a refund:
- Spent Credits: Credits that have been used to post a Collaboration Request are non-refundable, as they have been escrowed and/or paid out to another creator who completed the work.
- Subscription Renewals: Recurring subscription payments made after your initial 7-day guarantee period are not eligible for a refund.
- Earned Credits: Credits earned by completing collaborations for other users have no cash value and cannot be refunded.
- Accounts Terminated for Violations: If your account is suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service, any remaining Credit balance or active Subscription period is forfeited and will not be refunded.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email our support team directly at [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request".
Please include the following information in your email:
- The email address associated with your CollabPals account.
- The date of the purchase you wish to have refunded.
- The reason for your refund request.
Processing Time
We will review your request and typically respond within 2-3 business days. Once a refund is approved and processed by our team, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the funds to appear back in your bank account or on your credit card statement, depending on your financial institution.
Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
